The first region was mostly industrial, so we wandered through its parks and buildings.
As always, the botany was fantastic. The Japanese seem to have so much pride in their parks.
Some corporate art.
A building with interesting architecture. We think the lower level is sloped, or there is some optical illusion.
The world's happiest drink. We never saw it before yesterday, but now we see it in 1.5L format.
The second district was more urban, with teeming crowds and shopping districts.
We also witnessed a demonstration, Matt says they were protesting Pachinko, as it uses massive amounts of power and they are trying to conserve power in the Tokyo area.
The third area had a shrine in it. We walked through it, and it was really nice. The trees were incredible; Japan seems to have a host of trees with interesting reaching branches.
A small river running through the property.
A massive pair of trees within the shrine, beautifully round and enormous.
This particular attraction is a statue dedicated to a dog who showed up every day at the train station waiting for his master after the master had died. Someone had put a real dog there as well. It is a popular landmark for meeting people.
