Hello from Tokyo, thank you for joining us on this wonderful wet morning in Tokyo. I had skipped the previous day's entry as these two days I have only been going souvenir shopping with the siblings. While we had also gone to various landmarks, many of them I have already covered on this trip. So I'll just do a bit of photo dumping here.

Oh I guess there are two highlights, the day before we went to Ikebukuro and shopped around in the giant mall there called Sunshine City. The mall had previously been visited by Kathleen and Marise but this would be my first time there. Whats interesting to note is that it contains two theme parks inside, one modeled after Shonen Jump franchises (like Naruto and Dragon Ball) and the other is themed after Namco Bandai franchises (like Monster Hunter). The biggest appeal to me and my brother would be large Pokemon Center store.

The other highlight would be that yesterday we went to the Shinjuku Gyoen National Park.
Which as the name entitles is a giant well landscaped park with a large number of different species of foliage and trees. They also had trails lined with Cherry Trees but the cherry blossoming period is already long over. There were alot of groups of kindergartners and preschoolers there with their teachers enjoying a field trip as well.

Aside from that I took them to many shopping areas like the aforementioned Ikebukuro but in addition I also brought them to Harajuku and Shibuya. I had some pretty good food experiences as well with them including some excellent Yakiniku.

Today is going to be a busy day for me and my siblings as it is our last day in Tokyo. My siblings will be flying out of the country in continuing their own adventure in Shanghai while I will be travel westward and finally away from Tokyo and reuniting with my jolly band of friends. So there is much packing to be done and maps to go over. I'll just leave it at that and talk to you all again the next morning
