A day of wandering

After yesterday's overabundance of things to do, today was much more lax. Everyone did their own things today.

In the morning, I went to a nearby garden with Kathleen and Marise. It was 150 yen to get in (~$1.50) and, like pretty much everything related to plants in Japan, was quite beautiful.

For the rest of the day, I was on my own. I went back to the shrine/forest that we visited yesterday, and then to a nearby Ramen shop. Unfortunately, after waiting in line for ~20 minutes, I found the only vegetarian option on the menu was sold out. That was a big disappointment, and I started to make my way back to the house.

On the way back, I decided to stop by a Pokemon Center nearby to do a bit of shopping. It was pretty cool.

I made a few stops on my way back, including Uniqlo (found some plain short sleeved dress shirts!) and a supermarket (having missed out on Ramen, I was quite hungry at this point).

All of this was made possible by Google Maps, as without it I would have been hopelessly lost :)
