We went to a few shops, saw a movie (in Japanese, with no subtitles), and then went back to our place and played some board games with him.
Yusuke drove us around, and driving in Japan is a lot more involved than driving in Canada. The roads are narrow, and tend to have more people and bikes than cars. Also, Japanese GPSs are pretty awesome, because of the tight roads, it will show a zoomed in section whenever you get to tightly packed turns, tollbooths, or roads where it might be unclear where you are going.
We went to a KyoAni shop, and then to an Animate. We also went to a Yellow Submarine after the movie.
The movie theatre we went to. Japanese movie theatres are pretty cool, with much more reasonably priced snacks than western ones. They sell merchandise in the lobby, which is pretty cool.
I had zarusoba for dinner. They are plain noodles you dip in to a sauce; they were quite good.

Yusuke is a really good guy, and today was a lot of fun.
